Dr Joanne Goh

Dr Joanne Goh is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with a subspecialist interest in cornea, cataract and laser eye surgery.
Dr Goh graduated with Honours from the University of Melbourne and undertook her internship at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne.
She completed her ophthalmology training in Perth, Western Australia before heading to the United Kingdom to pursue a further two years of advanced sub-specialty fellowship training in cornea and external eye diseases, cataract surgery and laser eye surgery at the Bristol Eye Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.
Dr Goh has a special interest in laser vision correction, complex cataract surgery including laser-assisted cataract surgery, and the management of keratoconus. She also manages a wide range of disorders affecting the cornea, ocular surface and external eye.
Dr Goh also holds a public appointment at the Austin Hospital where she remains actively involved in the training and supervision of trainee ophthalmologists.
In addition to English, Dr Goh also speaks conversational Mandarin and Cantonese.
