Mr. Adam Le

BSc (UNSW), MOrth (UTS), BVisSci/MOptom (QUT)

Adam is a highly skilled clinical optometrist and experienced orthoptist who joined the MWES team in 2024. He graduated with Distinction from Queensland University of Technology in 2023, earning a Master of Optometry. Prior to this, he completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Vision Science at the University of New South Wales in 2015 and a Master of Orthoptics from the University of Technology Sydney in 2018.
Adam has a wealth of experience working alongside renowned ophthalmologists and optometrists across Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne. His clinical experience spans a wide range of ophthalmic subspecialties, including Glaucoma, Medical and Surgical Retina, Paediatrics, Refractive Surgery, Oculoplastics, and Neuro-ophthalmology. Additionally, Adam has been involved in surgical bookings and has assisted in day surgery with laser-assisted cataract surgery and is also heavily involved in the perioperative and post-operative care of patients.
Adam has also been involved in clinical trials and patient recruitment and management, notably contributing to the PROGRESSA study conducted by Flinders University and auditing for the Fight Retinal and Glaucoma Blindness databases with the Save Sight Institute. Adam is passionate about patient and student education and has served as a clinical supervisor and assessor for orthoptic students on clinical placements.


Originally from Sydney, Adam has also lived in Canberra and Brisbane before settling in Melbourne. In his spare time, he enjoys playing video and board games and catching up with friends on weekends. Adam frequently visits Sydney to see his family and his beloved bunnies, Fish Sauce and Spring Roll. While he is still learning the intricacies of Aussie rules football, he supports Collingwood and also cheers for the ACT Brumbies in Super Rugby and Stade Toulousain in the Top14.
