Ms Joyce Tiang

Joyce is a dedicated, friendly and compassionate orthoptist who graduated with a master’s degree in 2020. She has worked at Mount Waverley Eye Surgeons for many years and is highly skilled in all areas of orthoptics. Joyce has a deep experience and knowledge in areas including cataract, glaucoma, retinal, oculo plastics, refraction, myopia and paediatric eye care. Her role has recently expanded to include assisting in glaucoma monitoring research. Since June 2023, Joyce has been actively involved in using the innovative Melbourne Rapid Fields (MRF) software, contributing to advancements in glaucoma detection and management. Outside work, Joyce enjoys traveling, good food and spending time with her family.

She is fluent in English and able to converse in Mandarin Chinese.
